For 20 years, The Salon Professional Academy (TSPA) Colorado Springs has been shaping the future of beauty education.

To celebrate, we’re giving back with a new opportunity for future beauty professionals: the 20 Year Legacy Scholarship.

This $500 scholarship is available to students starting cosmetology, esthetics or nail technology in 2026.

What Is the 20 Year Legacy Scholarship?

This $500 scholarship is awarded to one student in every 2026 class at TSPA Colorado Springs. It’s our way of celebrating where we’ve been while investing in the next generation of beauty professionals.

Whether you’re passionate about:
✨ Cosmetology – mastering hair, color, and style
✨ Esthetics – focusing on skincare and spa services
✨ Nail Technology – creating nail art and design

…this scholarship can help you take the first step toward your dream career.

Who Can Apply for This Scholarship?

The scholarship is open to all students who begin any cosmetology, esthetics, or nail technology program in 2026. Applications must be submitted within the first 30 days of your class start date.

Scholarship Requirements + What to Submit

To be considered, you’ll need to submit:
✅ A 500 to 750-word essay: “How has the beauty industry shaped your life over the last 20 years? Share your personal journey, including what inspired you to pursue beauty, which trends you embraced, and how the industry has influenced your goals, confidence, and creativity.”
✅ A letter of recommendation from a career counselor or employer (on company letterhead).
✅ Your completed scholarship application form.

Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

How Winners Are Chosen

A panel of industry professionals will carefully review each essay, looking for creativity, originality, clarity, and passion. The essay that best reflects an authentic journey and vision for the future of beauty will be selected as the winner.

Winners will be notified in writing, and the $500 scholarship will be applied directly to tuition.
